Palace Wood

Primary School

From little acorns, mighty oaks grow

Palace Wood attracts all sorts of wildlife!

Dogs, wasps and BATS!

What an exciting, unforgettable day at Palace Wood on Friday 10th September.

Our day started with a loose puppy from a local property excited to meet everyone on the playground.

Thank you to the parents that helped capture the excitable fellow!

Later on in the day, we heard news of a wasp's nest established in one of our bushes and to our surprise a bat made its way into the school hall and was very reluctant to leave.

Despite calls to the Bat Conservation Trust and the RSPCA, it was left to find its own way out as it was not injured.
