Term 3

This term, our school focus is: Sustainability.

Our main text this term - which our writing and novel study will be based upon – will be 'The Boy Who Grew Dragons'. This hugely entertaining adventure about a small boy and his pet dragon is humorous at every turn, but also full of heart. Within maths, we will continue to explore fractions, before moving on to exploring mass and capacity. Towards the end of the term, we will loop back round to fractions, moving the children's learning forward after consolidating the basics at the start of the term. In science, we will use our previous knowledge of plants to focus on pollination. 

Children will have forest school and PE every Wednesday this term, so please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for these activities.

• Ensure you listen to your child read each night and then sign the reading record.
